Northbrook Community Trust welcomes grant applications from not for profit organisations for specific projects that help us to fulfil our purpose as a charity, and that are not covered under statutory responsibilities. We do not fund posts that are normally required to be funded by local or central government. The “What we do/Who we support” provides a range of examples of the projects that we have supported in the past but we always welcome innovative new ideas.
If you are considering making an application we would suggest you take the eligibility test using the link below to check that your organisation satisfies our criteria for grant funding. The eligibility test comprises thirteen questions but is for your guidance only. It is not for submission to Northbrook Community Trust.
Our criteria for awarding a grant
This is a brief summary of the criteria we aim to follow with the charities we support:
Your charity is working to support people under the age of 25
Your charity’s activities are focussed on Devon
Your charity’s activities are not covered by statutory responsibilities
We can support a charity with a one off grant or spread over a number of years ( typically 1-3) but we try and avoid longer term commitments so that we can help charities we have not supported before to get their programmes running.
This is not an exhaustive list and for more detail please check your eligibility below.
If you have passed the eligibility questionnaire, please read our Terms and Conditions and our Data Protection Statement carefully before you proceed. You will need to accept these before a grant can be awarded.
